Here we go, have a bit of past cuteness <3 I found this line while digging through my stash, so I thought I'd finish it and kick it up ^^

These two were the cutest fawns, they really were.

<sub>"Look, Gleni! There's a bunny!"

The chestnut colt laughed softly as he looked at his brother with a wrinkled nose. "Don't be silly, Elo, that looks nothin' like a bunny," he said, grinning.

Elodi looked to the larger colt with a scandalised look before pouting and sticking his tongue out slightly. "It so does! Look, there's the ears an' tail an' everything!" he pointed out, gesturing with a lanky foreleg. "And there's another one there!"

Glenor snorted before side-eyeing the other colt with a smile, raising an eyebrow. "Okay, this one looks even less like a bunny, 'Lo," the colt said, laughing. "It's more like... a hodgie."

The pale colt shuddered dramatically, pulling his extended leg back to himself as he shifted a bit closer to the other colt, eyeing the clouds dubiously. "I dun' like hodgies..." he muttered, curling up against Glenor's side. "They're all pricky and they eat fawns."

The young prince looked at his companion with amused exasperation, shaking his head. "Hodgies can't eat you, Elo. They just... walk," he said authoritatively, though he did sound a bit more unsure towards the end. After all, he wasn't entirely sure what it was hodgehegs really did all day.

Maybe Elo was right, maybe hodgies really did eat fawns.

Wrinkling his nose, Glenor glared up at the hodge-shaped cloud before shrugging, jostling Elodi slightly with the movement. "Well. Even if they did try to eat you, I'll watch out for you," he said definitively, nodding.

Elodi rolled over onto his front and sat up slightly, looking down at Glenor with wide, bright eyes. "Really?"

The chestnut nodded, smiling cockily. "Yeah, of course. That's what brothers are for, right?" He added, grinning at his pale companion before he resumed his cloud-gazing.

Only to let out a surprised 'oof' a moment later as Elodi cheered and flopped heavily against him before starting to point out more dubious cloud animals.</sub>
