Merida 242 & Symphony of the Goddesses 249

So I noticed that the lovely mare I recently traded for happened to be a few IDs after my own mare, Merida. As such, my headcanon is insisting that the two knew each other as foals, and that they often played together and bonded over dreams of defeating dragons and rescuing their riders from precarious situations.

Of course, as they grew, they remained close, however Merida's higher station and reputation meant the two didn't have as much time together as they used to have. As such, Symph was not around when her childhood friend saved a dragon and was subsequently cast out.

So now, when the two meet again, Symphony will be suitably stunned and pleased to see her old friend alive and well. Though she'll be less than happy to know that Merida is hanging around with a dragon
