So, this is my bid for an absolutely amazing stallion I found over at *Hathien603's auction <3 He's got a simple design, but his colour just stole my heart



I warred between making him a stable horse or an OC - clearly he'd be better suited for a stable, but i've always loved my OCs more So I settled for a compromise

If I get him, this chappy is going to be my OC Ronan's daddy, who got nabbed back from the wild They'll probably never be meeting in present time, but I thought it would be an awesome twist <3

<sub>Pierre Dupont hummed lazily as he walked along the dusty path between two overfilled corrals, scratching his head lazily as he soaked up the late afternoon sun and listened with half an ear to his companion's chatter.

It had been a long day. Nearly a week ago, a general call for assistance had gone out to a few affiliated stables and old hands of a broodmare farm out near the mountains. Apparently the owner of the ranch had been having trouble with wild horses that had been breaking into his paddocks and making off with his prized mares and foals. Finally deciding enough was enough, he had called for people to help him relocate the wild horses to a wildlife park, where they would be in nobody's way.

As the old man was one of his ex-employers, and a friend of his father's, Pierre had taken it upon himself to help out - flying out of the country over to the mountains to go round up wild horses.

Though most of the wild horses were the typical, unsuitable-for-riding sort that were usually found out in the wild, Pierre paused as his eye caught the glinting mahogany coat of a stunning stallion that stood in one of the corrals, slightly away from the majority with only a bright golden palomino mare and a little roan mare and her foal by his side.

The stallion seemed... a diamond in the rough, amongst the band of scrappy, rag-tag horses. With his smooth, clean conformation, thick arched neck and his violent curls, Pierre was immediately enchanted.

"Say, Bobby. That stallion over there - you checked him out yet?" Pierre asked slowly, nodding over to the liver.

Robert Haymen paused and glanced over at the lone trio, scratching his head lazily. "What, the red? Yeah, actually. Kid has a chip - who woulda thunk, eh? Jimmy's currently getting it checked out, but we have suspicions that boy is one of them European horses that done escaped a few years ago - was a big thing back then, I remember..."

Pierre tuned out Bob's grizzled voice as the breeder began reminiscing about his first days starting out in the mountains, as he begun thinking about possibilities. SPaVES was always on the lookout for horses just like the stallion in the field. And if Pierre's suspicions were correct, the stallion would make an amazing dressage horse - right down Linus' alley.

Grinning at the half-formed idea, he cocked his head over to his companion once again, raising an eyebrow with a mischevious grin. "Hey, Bob. I gots me a proposition for ya..."</sub>

Personality: Tangs is a very regal stallion - one who always seems to consider consequences before he does anything. Though withdrawn and rather stunted in his shows of affection, he does get very protective of his paddock mates and 'his' mares, and he will pine if separated from a frequent buddy for too long.
He is still very cautious and wary around strange humans he doesn't recognise, but he has taken well to the re-introduction to being ridden and dressage, and he willingly will put his best strides on for a favourite rider.

Other Notes:
+ He has a very curly mane and tail, both of which are always getting into impossible knots and tangles - hence his nickname.
+ He has an almost ethereally beautiful gait - one that is so smooth it seems almost like he is floating without touching the ground.
+ He dislikes snow. Immensely.
