Once the site of a thriving Kingdom of elves and men, the castle now lays in ruin slowly being reclaimed by nature. Much of the artifacts of old still remain here, untouched by thieves and bandits who fear the retribution of the vengeful spirits said to haunt the place.

However, despite the beliefs of the present settlements of men, the land is very much alive, and is home to a clan of horses - the descendants of the great Caer Court Horses of old.

These horses are remarkable in that they have the ability to speak in human and elven tongues - a trait gifted onto their race by the First King of Caer Niser's loyal court magician. However despite this, majority of the herd avoid all humans and elves like the plague, too fond of their freedom to ever allow themselves to be dominated by man once more.

Herd RP is to happen here!

Gecko walked along the ruins of the castle, harks pined as he watched everything. The ruins were such a interesting place to be at, but was also one that you had to be careful at. He stepped through a door way of fallen bricks and looked around. Smelling at the grass below him before lifting his head and perking his ears. He thought of a good place to be, maybe the water would be a nice spot. He huffed, and started walking. His tail still flicking.

(May I join? :meow:)

Torino heaved a heavy sigh as he pulled away from the flat land bellow the ruins and onto the slope. His day had been rather dull, what with not having talked with a single mare, he'd never felt so detached. As he finally reached the top of the hill, he turned, and smiled in triumph; despite the hill being a small obstacle. Torino then turned to the pile of rubble behind him and spotted something amongst the ruins.

"Hello?" Torino asked allowed, his ears perked forwards, his head and tail held high.

(Oh sure! ^-^)

Gecko pulled his head up when he heard a hello. He looked around him quickly before looking behind him and nickering softly. "Hello?" he called back, his tail swishing back and forth, his ears perked and listening. He slowly began to turn around and started strolling towards the voice but was alert and careful.

(Woot! :la:)

Torino let his muscles relax when he heard the mesculinty of the voice. 'Just another stallion' he sighed. Torino eased into a slow walk as he aimlessly walked around the rubble that fascinated so many. 'Nothing but a pile of rocks' Torino wasn't much for sentiment, and he had no care for the history of his homeland. He tried to place the voice of the other stallion, but had trouble, his brain was slow working after a bad nights sleep.

Gecko flared his nostrils and slowly walked up to the other stallion. Cautious and careful. He flicked his tail and raised his head high, watching the Torino closely. "You look dead..." The stallion noted to himself, watching the horse in front of him.

Torino noted Gecko before him, and raised his head somewhat in respect.
"Gecko." Torino said with a small flick of his head before eyeing the ruins. "What brings you here?" He asked, letting one of his back hooves go lame and relax.

Gecko perked his ears, watching him quietly. "I came to see how everyone was doing. And to make sure no humans nor if anyone was causing trouble. It seems fairly quiet here actually..." He looked around, flaring his nostrils.

"Not TOO quite I hope." Torino replied flicking his tail aimlessly. He joined Gecko's side, looking down at the plains bellow them. "I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary on the way up here..." Torino began. "Other than no mares wandering around." He muttered, lowering his head to inspect the grass.

Flame walked in, ears flat against his neck. The stallion looked around, disliking the fact he was part of a herd but knew he had to deal with it. He turned and walked a bit away, lowering his head and sniffed around, staying by one of the ruins and looked around, craining his thick neck into an arch.

(Okay this is annoying... apparently I'm role-playing with myself...)

Flame snorted, pinning his ears at all the others as horses interacted with them and seemed to ignore his very presence. He flicked his tail out of annoyance and turned, walking further onto the ruins, heading far away from anyone.
