Appearance: Huge, bright gold and eye-catching, Orpheus is not a Wraith you can miss. Despite the fact he's not the tallest Wraith around, his overbearing personality and presence make him seem larger than he is. He attracts the eye whenever he is around, but his intimidating presence and forbidding glare usually chase away curious eyes fairly quickly. He is surprisingly unscarred despite his difficult job, though he does have a few faded marks scattered here and there. His mane and tail are long and silky and occasionally adorned by gold beads. His eyes and heartstone are black like polished obsidian and seem opaque until the light hits them right. His expression is usually dark and unfriendly. He wears a black choker around his neck that used to belong to his twin brother.

Personality: Orpheus is a fairly withdrawn, unfriendly stallion. He still has vain tendencies such as his need to look his best and generally be tidy, but more than anything now he is single-minded, with his mission to protect the herd and watch over his twin.... even now. On missions, he will protect all of those he is assigned to, despite whatever personal feelings he may carry. If he takes a liking to you, he will do his best to keep you safe and out of harm's way. He is possessive, and he doesn't believe in social niceties. If you irritate him, he won't hesitate to rearrange your features as creatively and cruelly as possible. He has no concept of mercy, and is vaguely sociopathic at the best of times.

History: Once a human named Aiden Reid, Orpheus has been trading in violence all his life... and unlife. Always a hair away from the trigger, Orpheus has been kept sane and stable by the presence of his twin brother. The two were never apart for long, both in life and later as Wraiths, and they were comfortable in the thought that they would be as they were forever.

When the herd was split by a failed mission, Orpheus found himself trapped down in the Void without his brother. The endless night and loneliness nearly drove him insane, but he held onto the hope he had -- it was all he could do. When they finally escaped the Void, it was thought the worst was over... atleast, until the Wraiths started going Twist.

Orpheus had never been a fan of staying near the herd so it had been an easy decision to make to take Morty and live apart from the others. All was well, until the day Orpheus woke to find himself being held down by Morty, his brother's face twisted and terrible and wrong.

Orpheus still doesn't know till this day why the Twist version of his twin didn't kill him right then -- Twists weren't known for their mercy, after all -- but he is determined to find a way to save Morty and un-twist him. He can't give up on his twin, after all.

Other Notes: 
Orpheus was trapped in the Void with the Alpha Creed, but neither of them went Twist.
Nobody knows it, but Orpheus switched his heartstone with his twin long ago. Orpheus can still track Morty anywhere he goes, even as a Twist.
